I reached out to Joel to get a Pre Purchase Inspection (PPI) on a Mercedes SUV I was considering purchasing from a nearby dealer. I don't live in the area and wanted someone to represent my interests in looking at the car for me. Despite the car not being ready when he first came by to get it, he didn't just give up, but adjusted his schedule and workload for the day to accommodate having to inspect the car later in the day. Joel found several undisclosed issues on the vehicle and explained them all to me very well. I ultimately passed on buying the vehicle, because of how the dealer reacted to the issues found and the extent of undisclosed issues. I think Joel's thorough inspection of the vehicle saved me from considerable hassle and money. If you are looking for a PPI, this is a great place to choose.

So I had the clutch on my car go out recently, definitely not a pleasant experience. I called around to several different places for quotes and it turned out it was going to cost a lot more than I originally thought. Joel (the owner) was the only one who took the time to explain to me that it would be significantly more if the flywheel was damaged and that he wouldn't know until everything was taken apart. Every other shop I talked to just quoted me a flat price (but of course after I had it in I'm sure they would have called and told me 'Oh you need a new flywheel, that'll be an extra $400.') Joel was upfront and transparent from the get go, which is why I decided to take it to him. I definitely made the right decision. While the repair certainly wasn't cheap, the new clutch feels great and he helped me out with a really good rate on the labor. Just talking with him you can tell he's an honest guy and very knowledgeable about what he does. I will definitely be taking my car back here, whether it's just for an oil change or another major repair.
