I was searching for a mechanic in the Rancho Cordova area. I read the reviews for Carcanix through google and one thing I noticed was they had lengthy narratives describing the customer experience. Almost all were very positive and satisfactory. They also mentioned how impressed they were with the owner Joel. I needed a mechanic who could get my 99 Chevy Silverado truck running again. It suddenly stopped working and I had garaged it for 3 years after not being able to find the problem myself. I walked into Carcanix and talked to Joel in person. He talked to me for about 20 minutes getting a better picture of what could have potentially gone wrong. He told me that I was at the right place and as long as I would be not in a big hurry, he would be willing to tackle the job. 2 weeks later I got my truck back and it has been running like a champ. Turning out to be fuel pump went out. This is why I recommend Joel and Carcanix: He took the time to listen to my situation and was upfront at what he charged. There were no surprises of cost. He text me as they worked on my vehicle and let me know the progress. He also made sure to get my permission before proceeding with any repairs. I wasn't tried to be sold on repairs that were unnecessary. Before my vehicle rad ready to be picked up, Joel ran it until he was absolutely certain the issue had been resolved. So, In conclusion, I am convinced that I found a good mechanic that I'm not worried about getting ripped off. He cares about customer satisfaction and has professional mechanics working under him. He has my future business.

Bought my b8 audi a5 used from Highclass Autosale a month into driving the car had a oil leak I noticed on my drive way took it too Audi for a diagnostics to make sure I get an honest thorough inspection. Needed both valve cover gaskets and driver side upper timing cover done as I had active leaks coming from the mentioned parts. I knew audi would charge arm and leg prices so I wanted to take my car to a place that I knew who had experience audi/German mechanics who I can trust and count on. Called Joel at carcanix who is the owner of the place and man did he take care of me like he said. Very heavily focused on customer service. But I've been driving y car for about a week since I picked it up and notice no leaks anymore. Carcanix will now be my permanent home for my audi. Thanks yall!
